About Monique…

Monique S. Davis has a passion for helping students of all abilities reach their full potential! She started her career working with students with special needs, teaching them important life skills and computer programming. Monique is devoted to making sure everyone has access to technology, and she's even an ambassador for a company that creates fun robots and programmable drones kids can learn with.

Beyond coding, Monique's passion extends to drones! She doesn't just incorporate them in her classroom; her enthusiasm spills over to summer programs, where she inspires young minds. Monique also shares her expertise with fellow educators, empowering them to use this exciting technology. 

As a member of the North Coast Drone Alliance (NORCODA.org), she connects with drone professionals across fields – government, public safety, universities, and even commercial organizations – all united by their love for drones. For Monique, learning shouldn't be confined to textbooks. She actively seeks out transformative experiences like drone competitions to truly engage her students.

When Monique isn't teaching, she finds joy in spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and her playful chihuahuas.
